The Poetry of Patience

The poetry of patience says,
'Listen intently, don't say a word'
For it's the stillness that pays,
It's in the gifts, from people heard

When action confronts,
and it wills you to do,
Be patient enough to think,
are my actions ulterior or true?

See patience is freedom
It's contentment, its satisfaction
It's peace from within
It's to only with necessity, take action

The poetry of patience keeps me cool
It helps me not rush, to act like a fool
The poetry of patience, is a gift from above
And it's most forceful will is gracious love

The poetry of patience says, ‘Listen intently, don’t say a word’ For it’s the stillness that pays, it’s in the gifts, from people heard. @themindconnectory
